The greater Lions River Magisterial District, identifying with needs of KwaMevana in Howick, plus three informal settlements, Hilton Valley and the greater rural areas such as Balgowan and Lidgetton where we offer homebased care, but need to train many more volunteers in order to extend and carry out this work.

KwaZulu-Natal has the highest percentage of HIV+AIDS affected people in South Africa and the epidemic is rapidly increasing. Hence the urgent and pressing need to extend our homebased care service.
