Howick Hospice Education and Training

Howick Hospice runs numerous courses during the year. We run a community caregivers course which is a 58 day course, sponsored by Global Fund. Caregivers are trained to care for people with terminal illness.

Another course run by Howick Hospice is the Bereavement Course which trains people who will offer support to bereaved persons and families.

All Hospice volunteers and staff undergo a Hospice Orientation Course to give them a thorough understanding of Hospice philosophy and work.
